Extension to barn conversion situated near Launceston. The project involved first gaining planning consent for change of use for the very small converted barn from a holiday-let cottage to a permanent residence. Next, planning permission was sought for an extension, which was approved on appeal as the local authority could not accept the size of the proposed extension for the former barn and its specially protected status as such. The design was awkward to achieve given how small the original barn was - so it was necessary to add considerably to the size of the original building. Pentargon also undertook the working drawings for the works, including gaining Building Regulations approval.
