New community fire station on an environmentally sensitive site in Gwaun Cae Gurwen in the shadow of the Brecon Beacons National Park. PDL were commissioned for this BREEAM 'Very Good' rated scheme, which incorporates a number of environmental measures to make it highly sustainable in this exposed rugged location, as part of the Fire Service's Safer Valleys Initiative.
