Located within the picturesque Camden Square Conservation Area, this project involved the complete refurbishment and extension of a charming townhouse. We collaborated with the new owners to design a two-storey rear extension, a mansard roof extension, and an entire interior renovation. The owners sought a modern, light-filled living space that would cater to the needs of their young family. To achieve this, the Upper Ground Floor was fully opened up, creating a spacious and inviting reception area that seamlessly flows into the living spaces. The Lower Ground Floor, designed with more privacy in mind, was transformed by introducing Crittall glazing, which now connects the kitchen and dining area to a newly created external patio, reestablishing a strong relationship with the garden. A luxurious master bedroom suite was added on the first floor, alongside three additional bedrooms, a gym, a utility room, and a flexible study/home office space across the remaining levels. The project received planning approval in December 2022 and was completed in November 2023.
