Eagle House , 163 City Road , London , EC1V 1NR , United Kingdom
A new development behind a retained facade in the heart of north London providing 5000 sq. ft. of commercial space at basement and ground floor level with 7000 sq. ft. of residential accommodation above. Pardon Chambers Architects were appointed as architects and contract administrators to deliver this challenging and rewarding project on a constrained site in the centre of the city, adjacent to a disused London Underground station. Completed in August 2018. Our services included: Section 106 submissions, community liaison, London Underground agree- ments, party wall awards, new basement construction, demolition and enabling works contracts, facade refurbishment. Environmental credentials: the development achieved CfSH Level 4 and BREEAM Very Good, and is 35% better than Building Regulations 2013 on regulated CO2 emissions.
