The client, who is a plastic surgeon, asked our practice to provide architectural design services for a new clinic / surgery within an existing building. The site is within a conservation area in St. Johns Wood, London. The project is laid out over four storeys with basement. The building programme includes two general anesthetic surgeries, recovery areas, consulting rooms, training area and staff facilities. Our scope of services included brief development, advice on meeting relevant codes of practice and CQC standards, planning applications, technical design, coordination of consultant and supplier designs, interior design and site works.
