Dunthorne Parker were commissioned by Servite Houses housing association in September 2004 to design a 16 flat, key worker, shared ownership scheme on the site of adjoining Victorian houses in Southfields, South London. Dunthorne Parker were successful in achieving planning permission despite local opposition to the proposed car free development and the demolition of existing buildings. The flats were completed in May 2007. Servite were subsequently given the option to buy the adjoining site and Dunthorne Parker are currently working on a new scheme for 32 flats on the combined site. Since their introduction on this project, Dunthorne Parker have established a good relationship with Servite and are currently working on a number of other schemes with them including a 0.25Ha site in North London and a 0.22Ha site in Hounslow.
