The story of St James is a remarkable tale of a temporary wooden church building originally constructed in Great Warley, Essex and now restored and moved for the second time in its life. This lovingly restored and enhanced church and community building is now perched proudly in its new biblical garden announcing to the community that it is reborn, restored, alive and well and ready to face another century: - A project of conservation in the deepest sense – conserving its very being as a living and breathing place of worship and community.
