Vestry Road is a transformative project of a cramped terrace house that recrafts and celebrates its raw materials. Exposed pale brick and Douglas Fir timber provide warm textures in the kitchen to create a welcoming, calm [lace in which to cook and host. The ceiling lifts towards a frameless skylight at the rear which gives a greater volume and feeling of space in what originally was a dark narrow kitchen. Now, the space takes full advantage of the evening sun, with a fully opening, bi-fold window and seat becoming a perfect spot to relax.
