One of several Food Hall concepts O-RU are working on. As part of wider work on the regeneration of old market towns, O-RU are designing food halls and reimagining the high street for these evolving economic areas. Here, we repurposed three shop units into the food hall offering with a new 'greenhouse' roof terrace. The scheme also included a 500m2 office extension at roof level with a red saw-tooth roof, evocative of the mills which famously made hats for which Denton town is well known. O-RU also brokered important pre-application meetings between the Heads of Development from the local council.
