Oberlanders achieved planning consent for this mixed use new build proposal to regenerate a brownfield site on Slateford Road in October 2012. The development, for AMA, includes 220 student bed spaces for Edinburgh Napier University, together with 32 townhouse and apartments surrounded by new green space, designed to consolidate and enhance the surrounding 'Flower Colonies' residential communities. The new public space re-links the old railway steps from Harrison Road to the West and creates permeability from Harrison Place to the East of the site. Excavation started on site in early 2014 with the student phase of the project being completed in July 2015, followed by the residential units in 2016.
