Oberlanders have been appointed by The Craighouse Partnership for Clearbell London Real Estate Fund Management to lead the design for a residential redevelopment on this site. The proposals intend to enable the long term sustainable future of both the existing buildings and landscape and include for the conversion of the seven Category A listed former institutional buildings into 64 homes alongside a number of new residences. Oberlanders worked extensively with Historic Scotland, Scottish Natural Heritage, A+DS and The City of Edinburgh Council to sensitively create a wide range of exceptional apartments, complimented by a portfolio of contemporary residential buildings, adjacent to the existing historic fabric, echoing the context of large collegiate buildings set within extensive landscaped grounds.
