Waverley
New Build
Working in partnership with O’Donnell Coward Partnership Architects, D&M Planning Consultants and the developer Country Home (Key Site) Ltd., Nye Saunders helped to design this large development scheme of 35 houses and 102 apartments on a contentious strategic site (the former Police Station) just a short walk from Godalming town centre. Schemes by previous developers and architects had failed to meet with Waverley Borough Council’s approval. The design consists of Georgian styled town-houses interspersed with two, four storey apartment blocks, centred around a triangular courtyard with underground car parking. The development provides much needed new housing within the borough. Post planning, the site was purchased by Willmott Dixon who built out the scheme which is now known as Prime Place Godalming.
