Oakhill is a project located in Putney, South-West London. The existing house was a half-timbered Victorian detached house with a connected garage. It was in a poor state of repair after some years of neglect. Within a relatively tight site, the garage area was transformed into a contemporary double height living space providing family living and dining areas. A new kitchen was located between the family space and the formal dining area located within the original house. This arrangement creates a family hub surround the kitchen area. A basement space providing space for a media room and additional, en-suite bedroom has been constructed under the garage, and a small study space has been provided at the end of the garage area.
