The site was formerly the gardens of Lynwood House, a Grade II Listed building dating from the 1820's; Lynwood House had fallen into disrepair and required significant refurbishment to satisfy planning and conservation requirements whilst preserving and improving the building fabric. Lynwood House was converted to provide 4 high-spec apartments and 48 new-build apartments were added, arranged to complement the setting of the original house.
