Bristol
£5m to £9.99M
The design and subsequent £5 million refurbishment of the city’s old Homeopathic Hospital was carried out for Bristol Infracare LIFT (Local Improvement Finance Trust) Ltd, established in 2004 transforming it into a state-of-the-art Medical Centre, to provide new primary health and social care facilities for the people of Bristol. As well as completely redesigning and refurbishing the 3,500 square metre interior, Noma Architects worked with the other suppliers to provide new lifts, a new pharmacy and a new main entrance to the building as well as replacing the roof and all window frames. The building, now known as Hampton House, contains consulting rooms, facilities for health visitors, district nurses and speech and language therapists, baby clinics, physiotherapy and pediatry (foot care) services.
