About the practice

I am an RIBA Chartered Architect based in The Chilterns in Buckinghamshire. I have 20 years’ experience working in London for well-known and award-winning practices, primarily working on residential projects. My aim is to create buildings that are beautiful and finely crafted, that meet your needs and are practical to live with. I believe in design that is sensitive and sympathetic to the context, whether as a standalone building or an addition to an old building. I have a particular interest in creating contemporary refurbishments and additions to old buildings that enhance rather than overshadow. I understand the craftsmanship involved and how to work with that to create sensitive new additions. The design process is an iterative one; I enjoy working with clients to hone their brief and a design solution that enhances their building. I always seek to design in a cost-effective manner and consider the longevity of my designs to create joyful, enduring and appropriate buildings.
