A new-build three bedroom house designed to fit within an existing garden in a Conservation Area. The two interlocking cubes work to protect views from the existing house and also views onto the site from a heritage road. The single storey part of the house is nearest the road to minimise the visual impact to the street. The two storey block is pushed to the rear of the site, away from the windows of the existing house. Garden House was undertaken as Project Architect during employment at ArchiPhonic Ltd.
