New build house within a former service reservoir on Hawksworth Moor, Menston, Ilkley. We were approached in autumn 2012 to carry out a feasibility study for a large new house, annexe and ancillary accommodation including home office and gym in excess of 1000m2. Planning consent was granted in May 2013 and the project was completed in 2017. The house features ground and air source heat pumps, heat recovery ventilation, solar water heating & PV panels and the site has its own water supply fed by a spring. The buildings surround a central courtyard nestled within the existing walls of the reservoir.
