A residential annex in Rushden, Baldock. SG9. The brief was to design a small two bedroom new build annex in the garden of the main property to be used by the clients daughter. Low maintenance materials were required and while the primary sleeping quarters were to be on the first floor, to take advantage of the view, a secondary bedroom and shower facility was needed on the ground floor to ensure the building could be a lifetime home. This led to a room in the roof design which took into account the larger ground floor footprint.
