MWE Architects provided design services for the new entrance to Portland House, a Grade II listed office building in Newcastle upon Tyne. The project involved developing a contemporary glazed pavilion that enhances natural light, improves circulation and strengthens the building’s connection with the public realm. Our design introduces a clearer and more welcoming arrival point while respecting the historic character of the façade, supporting Portland House’s wider transformation into high-quality Grade A workspace.
