MWE Architects provided architectural design services for the conversion of a derelict chicken shed in Northumberland into a single family home. Our role involved developing the design and coordinating the reconfiguration of the previously approved two-unit layout into one cohesive dwelling centred around a new glazed courtyard. The project creates a light-filled home with an open-plan kitchen, living and dining space, bespoke interior elements, and carefully positioned windows that frame views of the surrounding countryside.
