Alteration to existing property
This tasteful conversion breathes new life into a former Baptist Chapel. Believed to have been originally built in 1778 the building exhibits a simple form executed in Cotswold stone under a hipped, stone slated roof. Original features have been sensitively refurbished and complemented by a mix of contemporary and antique fittings and finishes. Bespoke joinery and soft furnishings are paired with characterful wood strip flooring and a light industrial aesthetic to deliver a timeless quality. A new bespoke staircase and mid-storey mezzanine carefully wrap themselves around the perimeter of the central double-height living area leading to two suited bedrooms set within the roofspace. Original stained glass arched windows and glass balustrade allow natural light to flood the interior.
