This extension involved the replacement and modernisation of two large timber framed windows to the rear of the property, with new frameless glazed panels. The existing ground floor sliding timber framed screen was replaced with a fixed glazed pane, and the first floor protruding bay window was demolished so the replacement glazing was flush with the external wall. These two full height panes of glass had concealed frames and zinc cladding between them, to further perpetuate the contemporary nature of these changes. Alongside this, the internal arrangement of the adjacent spaces were reconfigured to better align with the idea of modern living.
