Arts and crafts house within Wavertree Garden Suburb Conservation Area. This modest extension includes the refurbishment of original Crittal doors and a reclaimed timber floor from a local church hall. It was our clients requirement that the house felt original, whilst also being respectful to the era of the house and surrounding properties. The rear garden is due north, therefore, maximising light into this area was essential. The introduction of roof lights with splayed reveals and a new side window ensures the kitchen, living, dining areas flood with natural light. A glazed internal door also allows natural light to penetrate the plan from the south facing front of the property.
