About the practice

Morrison Studios is a RIBA Chartered Practice designing beautiful, healthy and sustainable homes. The practice aims to minimise the environmental impact of its designs and actions through carbon conscious design, and the use of natural and local materials wherever possible. The designs produced are sympathetic to their context and enhance the character and heritage of the original buildings whilst ensuring that they meet the needs of modern-day life. Katy Morrison is a RIBA Chartered Architect with rich experience in residential architecture, educated at the Mackintosh School of Architecture, Glasgow and has previously worked for Stirling Prize winning Architects both in the Netherlands and London. Katy believes that a well-designed home can help your everyday positivity and wellbeing and feels immense responsibility in transforming her ideas into built reality. Services include feasibility studies, Planning Permission, Listed Building Consent, Sensitive Heritage Retrofit, Building Regulation drawings and Project Management. Morrison Studios are also able to draw on the expertise of an experienced multidisciplinary team encompassing Structural Engineers, Surveyors and Approved Inspectors. Morrison Studios was established in 2016 and is based in Bath, UK.
