An affordable social housing estate for a community housing trust. Set on a sloping site the new houses are partially below ground at the front and two storey at the rear. The design makes the most of the splendid views to the south with large windows and balconies overlooking the woodlands of the Stourhead Estate. Locally sourced larch wall cladding blends the four houses into the countryside setting. The sustainable design is enhanced with south facing PV panelled roofs generating renewable energy.
