We assisted our client from initial brief and feasibility studies, through to pre-application, planning applications, concept design, detailed and technical design, tendering, negotiations and on site monitoring. We were approached to assist the client to evaluate whether we should extend and alter or demolish and rebuild his property, a semi-detached house built in the 1920s. We worked closely with Richmond council and had plannign approved for a stand out new build home. The project and scope developed further and we assisted the young family in designing and delivering a new build semi-detached house in Barnes, close to the riverside. The home features a large basement, double height open plan living space, 5 double bedrooms and a garden outbuilding that hosts an indoor pool. This one of a kind family home is due for completion in early September and features extensive landscaping, modern elegant architecture, curved brick and cast concrete details. The interiors are closely linked to the architecture and feature bespoke elements and carefully thought out features. Careful use of natural materials and high end finishes such as marble, concrete, brick, oak engineered flooring and walnut joinery.
