The client approached us to rethink the layout and design of a two bedroom apartment in Hackney Wick, nestled between Victoria Park and Hackney Downs. Th project is characterised by a playful but timeless aesthetic, that ties in with the surroundings and creative neighbourhood. A bespoke plywood kitchen with forest green door fronts adds vibrant colour to the home, whilst careful geometric plays in the bathroom bring undertones of informality to the design. With a thought out approach and clever use of colour, even with small budgets, compact spaces can be radically transformed. The flat is now bright, airy, and contemporary, and all storage opportunities have been maximised to allow for both practical and aesthetically curated rooms.
