Having been told they could not build on their site by the Local Planning Authority, as it was in the Open Countryside, we undertook an Outline Planning Application to focus on the principal of a dwelling, safe access and the sustainability of the site. A case was made and successfully won approval for the principal of a dwelling. A design was developed with the client and approved via a Reserved Matters application. As lead consultant we brought the necessary consultants together to get full plans Building Regulations approval with an A Energy Rating, incorporating SuDS, Solar PV, electric car charging, a home office, etc. Our client worked with their appointed contractor and were delighted to move into their new home.
