Conversion of a former agricultural barn into a single family dwelling in Gloucestershire. This one-off house in the Forest of Dean, made of cotswold stone was a collection of long narrow barns which have been cleverly adapted to maximise the space and make features of the elements of the building like large openings, vaulted ceilings and exposed beams which give it character. There was a mix of both stone and red brick to which we also added larch wood aluminium and zinc to create a rich blend of historic and new.
