This was a security & environmental project which addressed the problems of a run down courtyard area between two 1970's blocks of flats. The scheme involved demolition of a commercial unit and walkway undercrofts which opened up the area to form new vistas with landscaped areas and pathways. Tree planting and contoured landscaping linked to accessible paved areas, improved lighting and decorative railings provide a focal social space and welcoming approach to the development.
