Soho Farmhouse, located in the village of Great Tew in Oxfordshire, is the latest countryside outpost of Soho House, one of the world’s most fashionable member’s clubs. After the success of previous collaborations including Babington House, Greek Street and Soho Houses in LA and Berlin, Michaelis Boyd were appointed to work alongside the Soho House Group to change the use of existing buildings and land to provide a hotel and leisure destination. The design approach needed to provide a sustainable reuse of the existing structures where possible, with the addition of sympathetic new structures designed to the highest quality whist maintaining the feel of a working farm.
