The Stable is a chain of restaurants based in the south-west of England currently expanding their business. We are working on multiple sites for this client. The Winchester site was previously used as a bar and night club.The project involved internal remodelling of the building to provide 140 covers, including 24 covers on the pavement, provision of an open-plan ‘theatre’ kitchen at rst oor level, and a new bar. In addition to this the inappropriate modern night club frontage was replaced with a more traditional timber framed glazed frontage. Large folding-sliding doors allow the restaurant space to extend onto the pavement during the summer months.
