New green keeping facilities were planned at a new location, closer to the golf course, providing machinery storage, workshops, office and staff facilities to suit the quality image of the club. In addition, we were asked to provide accommodation for the new golf course manager. Within conservation area land, once part of the historic parkland setting of a Grade 1* listed manor house, the design reflects the rural style of architecture within the Chiltern AONB. The building sits within the land to minimize visual impact from the highway, whilst from the golf course, is seen as a large rural barn.
