This complex, phased project involved the substantial reconfiguration of an existing highways depot to provide new offices, meeting and ‘battle room’ space, a marketing showcase suite, refurbished office space and new welfare facilities. Site wide, there were also improvements to pedestrian and vehicle circulation, health and safety enhancements and the creation of new car parking space. The project would deliver a headquarters facility to meet the needs of Amey’s remaining 20years PFI contract with Birmingham City Council and provide a base for their teams to work together on new and prospective projects.
