When our client purchased this property, it was in poor condition and had not been well looked after over a long period of time, with a couple of poor quality later additions. Our brief was to update the building, remove the unwelcome later additions, design a new and much larger extension to expand and enhance the original 1960’s structure and to create a new interior arrangement. Our design scheme and specification involved stripping back the fabric of the house to the original exposed concrete structure … restoring the structure and then completely re-fitting the property. Murrary Road remains as an iconic 1960’s design, but has been given a 21st century twist. It was a real privilege to have been working on a Peter Foggo building of such quality, and we like to think that he would be happy with the work we have carried out on his house.
