York
£1m to £1.99M
Since July 2012 York Council for Voluntary Services (CVS), together with the City of York Council and a number of York based charities have been working on a project to create a new health and social care hub for these organisations to collectively operate from. Oliver House: a redundant elderly peoples’ home owned by the City of York Council, located at Bishophill Junior, was identified as a potential place for this to happen. Following a Feasibility Study that indicated that Oliver House was suitable for conversion for this purpose, York CVS received unanimous approval for their Planning Application in February 2013.
