MWA were appointed by the client to design a new manufacturing facility. The proposed 1450m2 warehouse and 2884m2 two storey building includes offices, production facility, state-of-the-art training rooms and showroom facilities. Efficiency has been integral to the design, which features solar photovoltaic panels and acoustically enhanced facade materials to minimse noise pollution to the adjacent residential properties. All design works were completed using BIM, allowing for collaboration with the engineers to detect clashes and improve the construction program by procuring materials earlier than a traditional design.
