Mulberry Place is a new leisure development within the historic core of Daventry. The development provides a four-screen cinema with café bar and complementary independent restaurants as well as creating a new square connecting the High Street with Primrose Hill car park. As part of the development the existing Daventry Library Plus, which previously occupied the site, has been relocated into a new permanent home within the Abbey building where Marchini Curran Interiors have worked with Northampton County Council (now part of West Northamptonshire Council) to develop the design. The cinemas' foyer will include a ticket office, concession stands, café and function room (available for community use), and then the new public square will be adorned with planters, seating, and new decorative fountains. The new public square which will act as an extension for the new restaurants and eateries is a welcomed addition to Daventry and the community, providing a new destination and welcoming public space.
