Italian shoe designer Gianvito Rossi’s first store in the UK sits on Mayfair’s historic Mount Street. The distinctive arched shopfront forms part of a 19th-century arcade clad in pink Doulton terracotta in late Gothic style. Manalo & White worked closely with interior designer Studio Urqiola of Milan on the scheme. The design was carefully refined to complement the listed shopfront and internal features, such as a display cabinet with apothecary drawers, in consultation with Westminster Conservation Department.
