The THK Tower in Nuanu, Bali, is a 25-metre-high eco-parametric structure inspired by the Balinese philosophy of Tri Hita Karana, which is harmony between people, nature, and the divine. Its core is built from reclaimed ironwood sourced from a colonial-era bridge, bearing the marks of its marine past. A viewing platform and secular temple, the tower hosts rituals and gatherings, offering panoramic views across Bali. Wrapped in a flowing rattan skirt treated with copper sulphate and bio-epoxy from cooking oil, the structure balances strength with delicacy. At night, it becomes a living canvas for projection art, celebrating nature, tradition, and innovation.
