This major office conversion to residential won a National House-Builder Design Award for Best Restoration and Conversion. The core development of 113 apartments includes a new floor of penthouses at roof level and garden apartments in the former basement vaults. Two new apartment blocks with garden terraces situated above a decked underground car park enclose a circular courtyard. A private swimming pool and gym are set in the landscaped grounds around the buildings. Two adjacent crescents of town houses are designed to frame the adjoining cricket field and echo the design of the original headquarters building.
