This project involved a residential extension and full refurbishment of a home in Cheriton Square, Balham, London. Magri Williams provided a complete architectural service, from early design development and planning through to detailed technical design and delivery on site. The scheme reconfigured and extended the existing house to improve natural light, spatial flow, and functionality. A new kitchen was designed in collaboration with a specialist joiner, creating a bespoke solution tailored to the proportions of the space and the day-to-day needs of the clients. Additional bespoke joinery was designed for the lounge, integrating storage and detailing that sits quietly within the architecture. Alongside the architectural works, we delivered a full interior design package. This included the design and specification of all wall, ceiling, and floor finishes, a coordinated lighting scheme, and the complete design and specification of all bathrooms. Fixtures, fittings, and finishes were carefully selected to ensure consistency across the house, balancing material quality, durability, and a calm, considered aesthetic. The result is a cohesive home that brings together architecture and interiors as a single, integrated design approach.
