Mackay + Partners were commissioned for the development of the three zones immediately adjoining The Den. The plans are in keeping with the overall approved Renewal scheme for the area and have been presented to Lewisham Council. Plans include the entire Millwall FC site: the stadium, car parks and community centre. Zone 1 – Bolina East We will develop the current Lions Centre site to create affordable housing, student accommodation and retail space. Zone 2 – Stadium Avenue On the site of its current car park, the club plans to develop a sleek new hotel with further retail space. A major chain of hotel operators has already indicated its interest in this part of our project. Zone 3 – Senegal Way This is the planned new site for the Millwall Community Scheme which was established nearly 28 years ago. It will be relocated to a state of the art building with better facilities and more space – enabling it to do even more than it does now for the young people in the community.
