Northwold Road is a small infill family house in East London. A model for sustainable urban living, the heavily insulated design features a windcatcher to aid natural ventilation, a highly efficient solar heating system and a green roof, aimed at attaining Code for Sustainable Homes Level 5. Sensitively designed to echo the proportions and character of its neighbours and granted full planning consent in February 2015, it will be constructed in white brick and corten.
