Lyster Grillet & Harding Ltd began working with the Governors of Comberton Village College in 1994. With direct support from the DFE several phases of development and improvement to the College have been undertaken and completed. These include a new Science & classroom block and new Drama Music and technology facilities. In 1996 the College negotiated with the Developers of Cambourne new Village expansion to accommodate secondary aged pupils generated by the new development. The First Phase completed in May 2002 provides a new Assembly Hall, Gym, Dance studio, Community Sports/Fitness Suite, Staff room, Dining extension, Science, Classroom and Art blocks. Scope of Services: LGH developed the brief with the School and the LEA, undertaking curriculum analysis and development planning strategies. We were appointed on the basis of a full service in accordance with the RIBA key work stages from inception through to completion. Combined value of projects: Approx. £7.5 million
