Appointed by a private client to design a bespoke home for their family. The brief was for a high specification new build house is of a modern design under a pitched roof. The property is situated on a prominent corner plot in the Talbot Woods area of Bournemouth. The house is a set within a conservation area, so it had to be of a high-quality design to act as a positive contributor to gain support from the Local Authority. Slate walling, roofing, and black timber boarding were used to enhance the elevations of the dual aspect site. An oak tread with glass balustrade staircase is a feature of the double height entrance hall. The property was completed in 2015.
