Wanting to replace their kitchen kick-started our Clients into thinking about extending their 1950s Sheffield family home. We helped them articulate their Brief and explored options before settling on a design which enabled them to enjoy their lovely garden whilst gaining valuable space. We had to balance the logistics of muddy boots and muddy paws with flexible, spacious family living - all the while making sure the extended property was as energy efficient as possible. The dramatic roofline creates drama inside and out and plenty of glazing brings in natural light and gives views to the garden and trees beyond. We had a full architectural appointment, working from feasibility and concept right through to completion of the construction phase.
