Conversion of a former ironmongery shop into a mixed use development comprising gallery, office space, recording studio, retail and project space for food / wine events, film screenings, talks and presentations. The project occupies the ground and basement level of a typical London terrace. A new light well at the front provides separate access and brings light and air into the basement. To the rear a new roof light in conjunction with a new stairwell and double-height recording studio brings light into the ground and basement of the formerly land-locked property. Our role included working with specialist acoustic and ventilation consultants in the design and co-ordination of the recording studio.
