The main objective of the restoration of the Generator Hall in Loughborough is to bring back to active use a building that has a particular cultural and historical significance in Loughborough, to carry on activities which benefit the community and in particular the creative communities of Loughborough and greater Leicestershire by providing a spectrum of affordable workspace and arts space accommodation, be a centre for community and participatory arts and activities and to promote and encourage enterprise and involvement amongst young people, socially excluded people and disadvantaged people.
